It has been a whirlwind 2019 for WISE AI.
Besides being nominated for the Start-up and Research and Development categories for the Asean ICT Awards (AICTA) 2019, WISE AI is also part of the ‘Top 20 Hottest Artificial Intelligence Companies in Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC)’.
This recognition by CIO Advisor is the testament of how well WISE AI has been received and is due to our innovative and groundbreaking applications.
CIO Advisor identifies WISE AI as a company which aims to make life better and safer for billions of people in Southeast Asia through a range of consumer and business-orientated AI products and services.
“Specialising in eKYC and smart city solutions, WISE AI has emerged as one of the top facial recognition technology solutions provider in Southeast Asia,” the publication said.
“The Top 20 companies of 2019 are leaving no stone unturned in delivering best in-class solutions through an array of AI-powered apps and solutions.”
WISE AI has simplified the standard operating procedures for customer onboarding and verification in the banking industry for account registration, ID registration and customer authorisation. Instead of customers going to the bank, WISE AI’s facial recognition technology and eKYC110 solutions mean these activities can be performed online.
WISE AI’s innovative eKYC110 means customers only need to spend one minute for onboarding (registering) and one second for approval with zero human intervention.
“What makes our technology one of a kind is our high adaptability to different environments like an airport, healthcare facilities and educational institution where our technology can attain 99.7 per cent face-matching accuracy,” said WISE AI co-founder and business director Justin Goh.
WISE AI has also been actively making its brand known in the region and works closely with True Digital Park (TDPK) in Bangkok. TDPK is set to be Thailand’s and Southeast Asia’s largest startup destination and the place to be for urbanites in the digital era.
WISE AI also made its presence felt at the AI Summit Singapore at Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre last month and obtained positive response from visitors and industry players from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Australia, India, Japan and South Korea.
WISE AI has also been reaching out to universities, colleges and institutes of higher learning to educate them about facial recognition and artificial intelligence.
For the AICTA 2019, WISE AI has been nominated in the Start-up and Research and Development categories and is the only Malaysian company in the finals, guaranteeing it a top-three spot in each nominated category. WISE AI is also the first Malaysian company from the artificial intelligence field to be nominated for the awards.
The prizes will be handed out in Vientiane, Laos on Oct 23 and 24, 2019.
